Losing your life as you drink it away
Trying to hide broken feelings inside
By numbing your senses to what you’ve denied

All of your problems won’t go away
By running from fear and drinking all day

Always denying the pain and the crying
The hurt little boy that lives inside you
Slowly you’re losin the drugs and the boozing
Taking their toll as you put them away

Look at your children and how they need you
