Music with Imagination

Marilyn Lamberson

Marilyn was Intrigued by the pop melodies that she heard on radio stations, and after discovering the Beatles at age 13 she knew she wanted to play guitar. She borrowed her brother's Ibanez acoustic guitar to learn. By age 14 she was playing and singing lead and helping write originals in her brother Randy's "White Lighting Band". Her father bought her a Yamaha 6-string acoustic guitar for her 15th birthday, that was her prize. She likes to reach others through music, and enjoys meeting others with the same passion. Her best friend since the 5th grade, Angela Foshaug, also had a thing for the Beatles -- and together they spent most of their time either playing or listening to some kind of music. Through the years, Marilyn has played with many different musicians and recorded original music in various studios from Salem to Bend, Oregon. She met Tim Lamberson for the first time back in 1989 when he was sitting in on drums for her song, "What Are You Doing?"
