Rolling River

Years ago, the water flowed, and carved its way
Thru ageless time, it washed away, the sediment of rock and clay

Wash against and wash away every minute of every day
Carve along and wash away the currents strong and underway
Twist and turn around the bend thru the cycle with no end
Carve along and wash away the rolling river wont give way

Wild and raw with power so strong it's untamable
With a network that flows from the mountains to the seas
It's a vital link that connects the world and keeps it going strong
It's the rolling river that keeps us going on

Reflective pools, so calm and clear, revealing all the passing years
Raining down, giving life, the river flow makes paradise

The cycling chain of water drops from ocean floors to mountain tops
